Consultant/Senior Consultant - Federal, MPA/MPP, Human Capital, Strategy - University of Virginia

When a FEDERAL AGENCY undergoes significant organizational changes, they need a trusted advisor to help them drive decisions and navigate challenges. From talent strategy to organizational design to change management, our consultants look beyond the traditional boundaries within an organization to discover untapped sources of value. We provide guidance to organizations undergoing large-scale transformations; whether they are implementing new technology, about to embark on a merger, or simply changing the way they work. As a dynamic, strategic thinker who understands the big picture, you will work directly with our clients to help align talent and organizational strategies with broader business objectives.

Work You'll Do

Our work goes beyond HR and touches every part of an organization, including Finance, IT, Sales, Supply Chain, as well as other disciplines. In Deloitte's Federal Human Capital practice, you will leverage research, analytics and industry insights to lead and advise on critical programs from business-driven HR to innovative talent, leadership and change programs. Taking advantage of enabling technologies, employee engagement tools, advanced workforce planning, and analytics, you will steer our clients to realize their full potential. You might work with our clients to determine how restructuring their organization can increase efficiencies or develop global communication strategies to highlight the benefits of a new technology. As a trusted advisor, we'll expect you to be comfortable providing your perspective to client leadership.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree program in HR, ILR, OD or related field of study
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply business-related concepts
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills
  • Ability to apply research and analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain Security Clearance
