Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Technology, Systems Integration in Boston, MA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Facilitate definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications along with validation and testing services for clients. Develop go-to-market technical solutions for prospective clients and demonstrate the solutions for marketing purposes. Provide strategic advice and high quality results to client's business operations and systems. Work within an engagement team comprised of consultants, developers and testers for project implementations, including creating development tasks and tracking progress, defining testing objectives, and reviewing test scripts and test scenarios. Author and maintain documentation on database designs, functionalities, and system specifications. Apply Waterfall and Agile Methodologies to design software systems related to the Healthcare Public Sector, including Medicaid Eligibility and Rules Engine, Healthcare Coverage Reporting Systems and Long Term Services and Support case management. With guidance, prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, automated test scripts, perform gap analysis and compliance documentation, including verification/validation plan and summary reports. Define test strategy for large scale programs and ensure requirements traceability throughout system development lifecycle using JIRA and JAMA tool suites. Help create test execution work plans for large scale web-based applications using JIRA, JAMA and Microsoft Project. Perform data reporting using SQL and Microsoft Excel to present and systematically report the extracted data to project management. Review system training documentation used to train clients on system functionality. Assist in translating business processes into end-to-end business system design utilizing JIRA, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Facilitate technical developers and architects to translate business design into technical system design using JIRA and Microsoft Word. Support the training to clients on leading industry QA practices and testing tools, and creating templates, checklists and guidelines customized for client use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), CIS, MIS, Economics or a related field.
  • One year of experience providing consulting services to public sector clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have one year of experience with:
  • Authoring and maintaining documentation on database designs, functionalities, and system specifications;
  • Applying Waterfall and Agile Methodologies to design software systems related to the Healthcare Public Sector, including Medicaid Eligibility and Rules Engine, Healthcare Coverage Reporting Systems and Long Term Services and Support case management;
  • Preparing and executing test scenarios, test cases, automated test scripts, performing gap analysis and compliance documentation, including verification/ validation plan and summary reports;

  • 80% travel required.
