Consultant - Strategy & Operations, Finance, Consulting - Southern Methodist University

As a Financial Consultant working within our Strategy & Operations practice, you’ll work with talented finance professionals and advise clients across a wide range of industries. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects for our clients and add clear value through your effort.

Work you’ll do

As a Financial Consultant, you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of clients and industries. In this role, you’ll help clients strategically plan and execute plans to drive growth and help them gain a competitive edge in the market. You’ll use your exceptional communication skills to share ideas, explain concepts, and present financial findings to clients to help them achieve their business objectives. Working within a supportive and innovative team culture, you’ll develop many new ideas and bring unique insights to each project.

Our Strategy & Operations consultants offer insightful recommendations and data-fueled strategies to help our clients address some of their most complex business issues. We are a diverse and talented team that supports a collaborative culture and delivers value through the application of strategy and process improvement. We tackle our clients’ organizational strategy, financial management, supply management, innovation, and growth issues and help to enhance their business performance, productivity, and long-term profitability. Qualifications

Required

  • An MBA, MS in Finance or related degree
  • 2+ years work experience in consulting for corporate finance and/or a relevant industry
  • A solid understanding of finance organizations and/or processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio and other presentation/analysis tools
  • Willingness to travel
