Assurance & Advisory - Superannuation Governance, Regulation and Conduct Advisory Manager (Melbourne)
Are you an experienced finance professional who has gained specific experience in regulatory compliance, risk management or controls assurance in the superannuation sector? Are you keen to utilise this experience in a challenging and varied role which will allow you to work across diverse projects and clients?
About the role
Our Financial Services Governance, Regulation and Conduct (GRC) Advisory team forms part of our Assurance & Advisory Group. The GRC focus is consulting on governance, regulatory compliance, and retail conduct risk matters predominately within Wealth Management, Superannuation, Banking, Credit and Insurance industries.
We are keen to speak with Manager level candidates who are keen to utilise their in depth Financial Services and governance experience in a diverse and challenging role. To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Experience of leading engagements and mentoring less experienced team members
- External or internal audit, risk and compliance, remediation operations or legal experience in the superannuation sector
- Experience of working with APRA and ASIC
This role works closely with Partners and Directors in designing conduct and compliance frameworks, managing remediation activities, and responding to the requirements of key regulatory bodies.
As a Manager in the team you will both lead engagements and less experienced colleagues while also seeking out new opportunities in the market. In providing services to our clients you will work collaboratively within teams to form hypotheses and deliver tailored "and Different" solutions. You will possess the following:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of key regulatory requirements that apply in the superannuation sector
- Practical hands on experience on regulatory transformation, regulatory readiness and the provision of ongoing regulatory and compliance support
- A focus on delivering innovative solutions, excellent client service, strong management, interpersonal and leadership skills
