Work You'll Do

Advisory Senior Consultant in Technology Risk, Cyber Risk Services to identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Utilize knowledge of business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management. Build and nurture strong client relationships. Write reports and contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel. Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty. Assume responsibility for small components of engagements. Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/work plan. Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client.



  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Decision Sciences, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Two years of IT experience, including implementing, architecting and testing technology enabled business solutions and software development.
  • Experience must include two years of:
  • Conducting identity and access management in areas, including single sign on, multi-factor authentication, identity proofing, and Self-Service forefront application development;
  • Developing code utilizing Advanced Java technologies, including Spring, Hibernate and Bootstrap; and
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members on UI development.
  • Experience must include one year of:
  • Conducting sessions to understand company's current Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment and associated challenges, and capturing requirements to implement desired IAM solution;
  • Managing IBM Identity and Access Management solution deployments through complete system development lifecycle, including analysis of solution requirements, solution design, architecture and supporting business processes, configuring and customizing IAM software products, and testing (unit, system integration, performance and UAT testing);
  • Designing and implementing IAM systems;
  • Installing, integrating, deploying, testing, and managing IBM Security Access Management products, including Self-Service; and
  • Communicating directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions and perform testing.
  • Position requires approximately 80% travel.
