Project Manager - Operations

Summary:

To assist the Sr. Operations leadership in coordinating across functions

Essential Duties:

• Assists with the controlled identification and implementation of required changes in the ops organization.

• Plans and coordinates all aspects of system and tools enhancements and integrations from conception through delivery.

• Manages systems and tools initiation activities that include processing change management requests, requirements gathering, documentation, and final testing.

• Identifies and works with stakeholders to develop, define and execute integration and enhancement plans, project scope, activities, schedules, and deliverables.

• Coordinates activities and tasks among team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet business change goals and ensure enhancement and integration completion is on schedule, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.

• Serves as liaison between internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all requirements and deadlines are met.

• Formalize and communicate the enhancement acceptance, documentation, completion, and ongoing activities as needed.

• Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.

• Identify operational gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements system solutions and/or process changes.

• Performs additional related duties as assigned

• Ability to evangelize on behalf of, and influence key stakeholders and partners against a shared goal, where multiple inputs and perspectives on solutions are common.

• Strong collaboration & project management skills to enabling tying all stages of the development cycle together for an end to end picture of impact

• Knowledge & understanding of customer support best practices & supporting a diverse set of customers.

• Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely-differing viewpoints.

• Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the specific job level.

Experience:

Qualified candidates must have minimum 2+ years Project Management experience.

Skills:

• Ability to evangelize on behalf of, and influence key stakeholders and partners against a shared goal, where multiple inputs and perspectives on solutions are common.

• Strong collaboration & project management skills to enabling tying all stages of the development cycle together for an end to end picture of impact

• Knowledge & understanding of customer support best practices & supporting a diverse set of customers.
