Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full-time, Permanent)

We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. They will participate in the daily operations of the company’s accounts receivable collections cycle. They will be involved with collections, issue resolution, and customer account reconciliation. This position reports to the AR Collections Manager.

  • Contacts customers to determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment
  • Educates customers on their alternatives and the ramifications of their actions through counseling practices
  • Supports senior members of the collections group on collection tracking and reporting
  • Utilizes Intacct accounting Salesforce CRM systems competently
  • Assists with portions of customer cash receipts processing
  • Proper recording and application of cash, management of outstanding invoices, and direct interfacing with customers on collection matters and dispute resolution
  • Assist with credit card processing management

Skills/Requirements

Requirements:

  • Work experience in credit/collections with responsibility for direct customer contact is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not necessary DOE
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Successful in dealing with customer and company personnel at all levels
  • High degree of integrity including ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information
  • Ability to exhibit poise, composure, and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
  • Personally exhibits a strong commitment to dependability and reliability with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of the customer base
  • Works well in a challenging high growth environment that is constantly changing
