The Program Manager in the School of Leadership, will be an integral member of DaVita University which serves 65,000 teammates across the global DaVita Village. The Manager will work collaboratively with business leaders and learning professionals to identify development needs for a targeted population of learners, leverage the instructional design team to develop innovative learning experiences, curate learning assets for the digital campus and deliver programs as needed.

Our ideal hire will have a strong background in adult learning, project management, facilitation, executive communication, as well as, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile and matrixed environment. Prior experience as a people manager is highly desired.

Preferred location for this position is Denver, CO, though we are open to 100% remote.

Program Management Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Owns the training needs assessment for leadership development
  • Project manages the creation and updating of development programs in partnership with instructional designers, learning operations and measurement professionals to meet defined learning objectives
  • Facilitates leadership development programs (in-person & virtual) or arranges alternate facilitation by role experts
  • Curates development assets on the DaVita University digital campus
  • Continually assesses the effectiveness of development programs and adapts content as needed
  • Communicates the impact of programs to executives and coordinates business approval of new or updated programs as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related learning and development field.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and programs, think strategically and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Ability to coach and develop others
  • 4+ years professional experience in learning and development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for teamwork
  • Proficient in workplace applications (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving demands and matrixed relationships.
  • Travel 0-25%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Masters degree in a related learning and development field
Nights and weekend work is rare if any

$62,200.00 - $91,300.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
