DaVita Kidney Care is seeking visionary and passionate operations leaders to help expand our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) Dialysis services to improve the lives of patients. This Director of Operations will lead all strategy, growth, and operations across the West region with 22 SNF sites.
This is a newly created role due to growth and this leader will focus on building out the region and continued business development. You'll provide strategic and tactical leadership, counsel, and direction to the field management of assigned facilities to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care and lead expansion across the region.

This leader will need to be located in the territory which includes sites across Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Missouri, Kansa, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho and Oklahoma. This role will require travel up to 50% within their assigned geography.
Three years ago, DaVita created this rapidly growing service line dedicated to improving patients' lives by bringing DaVita's industry-leading dialysis care on-site to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). In coordination with local nephrologists and health systems, DaVita works to identify, engage, and partner with leading SNFs to develop on-site hemodialysis programs that complement our in-center, home, hospital programs, ensuring excellence across the care continuum.

Required qualifications to be a successful Director of Operations:
- 5+ years' experience as a supervisor/leader in operations with at least 2+ years of multisite experience. Healthcare industry required, experience within the Skilled Nursing Industry strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- Strong leadership acumen; successful team management and development
- Prior P&L management experience. Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertise
- Experience in identifying and developing growth opportunities to increase business
- Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments
- Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative and logical thinking skills
- Advance computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required
- Availability for regional and some national travel; up to 40%
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of upt50 direct reports, regional operations managers, nurses and care technicians, who you will inspire to join you in the quest to bring safe and highest quality care to SNF patients in their residence
- Oversee hiring, retention and development of teammates
- P&L Ownership: Drive financial performance, meet operations and financial targets and labor management
- Development and execution of site volume growth strategies
- Project management for launch of new SNF locations
- Maintain existing relationships with physicians, hospitals and SNF partners
- Create new physician and SNF relationships
- Lead new site business development - souring and developing opportunities
- Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutionsMaintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats)
