DaVita is seeking a full-time Dilaysis Registered Nurse (RN) - FLOAT who is looking to give life in an Outpatient Dialysis Center!
This position will support/FLOAT to multiple DaVita Dialysis facilities throughout the Region. The ideal candidate must be comfortable floating between locations within a 30 to 40-minute radius of the New Haven, CT area
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
- Float to nearby clinics in Region as needed
- Fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Long-term patient relationships
- Broad nursing skill application with medically complex patients
- Paid training provided
- Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Training may occur at a clinic other than your home location
- Full-Time schedule working 3-4 days/week, 10 - 12 -14 hour shifts (alternating Saturdays) - Sunday's off!
- RN license in the state of practice
- At least 6+ months dialysis experience is required
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
