DATA Communications Management provides tailor made single-source communications management solutions to our regional, national and international clients. Our dedicated staff takes pride in providing our clients with exceptional performance at every phase - from consultation through to execution of their print and digital business-to-business communication requirements.

This position maintains and expands relationships with DATA key clients by being intimately familiar with client business requirements and introducing DATA's full suite of products and services. This position is responsible for understanding and executing the Strategic Account Plan. You are expected to assure that the client has a high degree of satisfaction with DATA and considers DATA to be a reliable business partner/thought leader. The Enterprise Account Manager is expected to advanance the sales strategy and assures that DATA's resources are deployed within the client's environment in an effective and efficient manner. You will drive the tactical elements of the overall Key Account Plan

Key Responsibilities:

Client Retention Satisfaction - The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for ensuring that all assigned clients are highly satisfied and most likely intend to remain DATA business supporters and partners. The EAM will assist in the development of scorecards, performance metrics, proposal writing, Partnership Performance Reviews, business reviews and demonstrate DATA's value in improving the client's business and exploring new opportunities and solutions.

Sales Operations - Updating forecast, preparing status reports, client quotes, quality documentation (e.g., Known Wins, New Product reports, reviewing expense reports, etc.), CRM update, etc.

Tactical Execution - Responsible for executing upon client requirements such as designs, developing product solutions, product testing and roll out, coordinating projects (ex. kitting) and assuring that all client requirements are executed in a flawless manner.

Business Development Identifies new business opportunities through the intimate interaction with the clients and LOB players, achieves business development goals by leveraging client relationships. As such the client relies upon you to support its business thereby enabling growth of wallet share and expand beyond "the contract" within the client account.

Solutions Architect - Develops solutions that integrates DATA's traditional document management program with the broader MBCS offering. As a Solutions Architect you engage key partners within DATA to execute flawlessly on the unique, bundled solutions. You must understand the client's current state and either determine the solution road map to take the client to the desired state and/or by understanding the business environment


Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience

  • Solid print and ancillary industry experience
  • Professional selling industries (technology, professional services, financial services) knowledge
  • Proven Dispute Resolution Negotiating and objection handling fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business analysis and develop unique solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Solid technical skills relating to growth products, process improvement and technology
  • Proven time-Management and organizational skills
  • Experienced in selling/presenting/proposal development skills
  • Drive to win persistence, dedication, focuses energy on attaining revenue requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical proficiency
