IT Tech Intern - Summer 2017

To complement our World-Class technical teams, we are seeking an awesome, customer service oriented IT Support Tech. You will be providing frontline hardware and software technical support for our employees. You will primarily be responding to tickets and providing support for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android devices, printers, and other systems as needed. This position reports to the Director of IT and will receive general supervision, but will be expected to be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Setup and configuration assistance, including installing software, operating systems, and peripheral devices
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with the LAN and/or WIFI
  • Procure, setup and distribution of new equipmentInteract with hardware vendors for repairs/service including warranty claims
  • Anti-virus software installation, reporting and removal of infections
  • Participating in training users on new technologies
  • Providing A/V support for conference roomsProvide world class customer service
  • Device provisioning, decommissioning


  • Customer service focus
  • Experience with basic networking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Able to adapt quickly to change and be up to date on new developments in the IT industry

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years of experience
  • Currently working on a BS Degree
  • Experience providing Tech Support to users of Macs, PCs and various mobile device platforms
  • Basic Ethernet and WIFI networking skills
  • VOIP phone systems
  • MS Office
  • Video conferencing and A/V systems
