Staff Software Development Engineer - Cloud Engineer

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects. You will be responsible for:
Application development:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications and services on cloud platforms, often using cloud-specific tools, APIs, and services
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Github , Gitaction , Jenkins), automate processes, and work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth workflows
- SME in Self-develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows on Cloud tech stack
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based systems
- Work with other engineers and teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and meet business requirements
- Optimize cloud costs, manage cloud resources, and provide support for deployed applications
- Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud solutions and infrastructure
- Able to manage Documentation in Project Management Tools such as Sharepoint , IBM Workflow Management, Jira, etc
- 7+ years of experience in systems analysis and application program development including both front end and backend
- 5+ years of development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, SpringBoot , Search, NoSQL, MongoDB and/or Kafka
- 5+ Years of experience working with onshore and offshore team members
- 3+ years of Web application development experience using Angular JS/React, CSS, Html, JavaScript and / or Nodejs
- Experience in Deep understanding of cloud architecture and software engineering principles
- Experience in API request and response Invokations & security
- Experience within an Agile software development
- Experience building Enterprise solutions and managing client requirements and technical solutions
- Experience with cloud computing technologies; possess a track record developing in GCP/Azure or similar public cloud environment
- Experience in a DevOps role working with various technologies like Kubernetes, Argocd , CircleCI , GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory
- CI/CD Pipeline automation experience with Continuous Security Vulnerabilities monitoring ( eg , Snyk , Nexus etc.)
- Experience with Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence (Vertex AI, Gen AI, GPT 3.5) modeling
- Experience working with any Cloud Providers/Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Google Cloud Storage, Kubernetes (GKE) specifically from a software development perspective
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes with a focus on deploying and managing applications

The typical pay range for this role is:$106,605.00 - $213,210.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
