We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Salesforce development and architecture to lead the design and implementation of innovative, scalable solutions within our enterprise healthcare systems.

In this high-impact role, you will serve as a technical leader focused on modernizing legacy systems and driving the strategic use of the Salesforce platform across the organization. Lead the integration of Salesforce with internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce development and governance. You will collaborate with product, architecture, security, and operations teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver secure, high-performance enterprise-grade solutions that enhance healthcare services, patient engagement and care management.

This position is ideal for a candidate who combines hands-on Salesforce development experience with architectural vision and a passion for transforming enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture.
  • 5+ yeas of experence with Health Cloud, Omnistudio, Apex, LWC, SOQL, BRE, and Salesforce integration patterns.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, OmniStudio Consultant).
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise application architecture, APIs, microservices and middleware technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Generative AI technologies including AgentForce and Data Cloud
  • 2+ years of expeience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Health Cloud Certification, Integration Architect).
  • Knowledge of Heath Cloud implementation in healthcare/payor industry
  • Experience modernizing legacy CRM or mainframe systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AutoRabbit.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies and their application in enterprise environments.
Education

Bachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$144,200.00 - $288,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
