Pharmacy Technician - Advanced Practice - Phoenix Work From Home

Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join a brand new team at CVS Health! We are building out an Advanced Practice team in Phoenix, AZ and seeking Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians. In this role, you will have greater responsibilities in prescription order processing including accepting and providing verbal pharmacy to pharmacy prescription transfers, assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system. This includes the calculation of doses, assignment of directions and accepting proper insurance payment in a timely fashion. To be successful in this role you will need to be an excellent communicator, confident working with dual software systems, comfortable interpreting prescriptions for Pharmacist verification and will need prior experience with Microsoft Office.

Shift will be 9:30a-6p M-F, with a rotating Saturday every 4 weeks.

Required Qualifications
• Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
• National Technician Certification
• 6+ Months of Pharmacy Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience with Mail Order processes, procedures and operations

Education
• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
