Performance Architect Engineer COE

Job Description
As a Performance Architect you will lead the Performance Engineering Center of Excellence within our Healthcare Business, managing an array of projects to continuously drive innovation and best practices within the Performance Testing Team and across our enterprise practice areas.
This role will provide key feedback during daily calls for ongoing performance test activities. You will also be responsible for making changes to the centralized testing project management tool, partner with other teams, provide clear and articulate project updates and lead several key meetings.
Additional responsibilities for this position include:
• Scanning the team landscape and develop suggestions for process and other improvements.

• Helping testers develop PTS and can provide guidance on data needs or other key project needs.
• Providing guidance for review/analysis of test results in preparation for sign-off.
• Contributing to the Environment Strategy (A section within PTS for populating Environmental details).
• Assisting others with technical questions (how to code, etc.).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 115,000
Maximum: 230,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
• 3+ years of experience in performance test engineering (i.e.: SQL, selenium).
• 5 + years of experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic).
• 5+ years of experience with web-oriented client servers (i.e.: Java, .Net, mainframe).

Preferred Qualifications
• Good understanding of the Application Architecture and Workflows.
• Proactive and can manage Stakeholders.
• Experience developing and presenting executive level reports.
• Understands importance of NFRs and their content.
• Ability to help troubleshoot and triage Application or Environmental Issues.
• Creative thinker (solves problems for data creation, scripting solutions).
• Highly organized and dependable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player.
• Experience in a leadership/management role.
• Experience with mainframe applications (ex. oracle, DB2).
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience and/or understanding of tool administration particularly with performance test management tools such as BlazeMeter and Performance Center.
• QuickBase experience.
• Health Insurance industry experience.
• Automation experience.
• Center of Excellence experience.
• Experience working with DevOps / DevSecOps and with tools such as UCD, Jenkins, etc.

Education
Bachelor Degree or higher in IT / Technical field or equivalent work experience.
