And we do it all with heart, each and every day.As a Mail Clerk Assistant, you will o perate and maintain mail processing equipment, troubleshoots technical issues, conduct regular maintenance and repairs, and ensures the proper functioning of mail automation systems. Plays a crucial role in optimizing mail production processes, maximizing efficiency, and resolving technical challenges to meet production targets and quality standards. Contributes to the smooth operation of mail operations and collaborates with other teams to ensure effective mail processing and delivery.

What you will do
  • Under close supervision, completes tasks pertaining to the movement and processing of employee mail and packages.
  • Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for future shipments.
  • Loads, lifts, and carries moderate to heavy mail and packages from trucks, other organizational facilities, and mail sorting equipment/machines.
  • Checks that items are addressed correctly, marked with the proper postage, and in suitable condition for processing.
  • Operates mailing machinery and transports mail to the distribution area.
  • Maintains accurate records of employee deliveries and fulfillment requests to ensure all mail-related inquiries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Follows organizational guidelines when responding to questions from external organizations such as post offices, third-party delivery services, and delivery drivers.
  • Monitors junior-level staff during mail and distribution service tasks to ensure duties are fulfilled according to company standards.
  • Communicates with other office employees to ensure all mail is delivered on-time and other internal administrative operations run smoothly.
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
  • 1-2 years work experience, in a production capacity
  • Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills

The typical pay range for this role is:$16.00 - $28.84This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
