Job Description
The Lead Director, Care Model Innovation, Medicaid will report to the AVP of Clinical Growth & Health Delivery Integration, within the Clinical Innovation & Cross-Enterprise Partnerships organization.

This strategy-focused team will partner closely with Medicaid and Clinical Operations teams to identify and execute on key opportunities to unlock value and efficiency through innovative care model design that leverages shared learnings in other lines of business as well as our unique enterprise assets and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, define, and execute Medicaid-specific care model strategy, leveraging industry best practices and a data-driven approach, and aligned with enterprise strategic goals, priorities, and objectives



Collaborate across all lines of business with key stakeholders and other enterprise partners (e.g., Local Markets, Product, Network, etc.) on care model design and innovation

Assess areas that can be standardized across Medicare care management and across other lines of business

Find opportunities to productize capabilities within the care model

Ensure Medicaid specific needs (including regulatory) by geographic are factored in vision

Perform capability assessments, gap analyses, document risks, and compile recommendations to enable greater efficiencies, process improvement, and standardization

Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and strategy planning with cross-enterprise stakeholders to inform care model design

Provide subject matter expertise and thought partnership

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 227,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a strategy-focused business management role, leveraging a data-driven approach that is also informed by industry trends and best practices

Medicaid expertise and experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives (care model design experience highly preferred), driving transformation and innovation, with strong execution and program management skills

Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate with across teams and individuals throughout the enterprise to prioritize and accomplish common goals, timely and effectively.
