Job Description
The Lead Director, Product Management, Insights & Analytics is responsible for executing the business planning, roadmap, management, and delivery of multiple products from the very early stages of the product lifecycle. These products will be based on data, reporting, analytics, and insights and should have significant potential for growth within the customer segment in the Healthcare ecosystem. The role will be part of a team that has accountability for performance of assigned products against key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment to the Business goals.

You will introduce new products to market and work with business development, marketing, customer support, data, IT, and other internal departments to develop product requirements, go-to-market strategies, and launch plans, ensures effective communication / promotional strategies, develops key messaging for products and key strategic market issues, and produces product materials and sales collateral in partnership with marketing. Responsible for internal and external education on features, benefits, and the value proposition of products and services, support product discovery, requirements workshops, and understands and monitors market, competitive trends, and competitor products and recommends actions when necessary. Identifies opportunities, challenges, and solutions for product objectives.

You will make an impact by:
• Leading a tangible, data-driven execution strategy across a portfolio of data and insights products
• Supporting the product vision, strategy and roadmap for several products related to Data, Insights, Business Intelligence and Analytics, working on multiple Products in a complex matrixed environment
• Developing product value propositions based on market understanding that lead to a prioritized product portfolio
• Driving product management disciplines across the product lifecycle, e.g., discovery, requirements and backlog definition, agile development, and product quality, ensuring product readiness across Technology, Data & Analytics Delivery, Product and Go to Market perspectives
• Engaging with clients in early product discovery leading to iterative development of product requirements and enhanced feature development
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance
• Advocating for Products by creating compelling communications for Senior and Executive Management
• Driving a user-centric culture of data driven, test and learn experimentation, continuously assessing and enhancing the Product user experience. Lead cross functional teams including IT Delivery, Data & Analytics and Sales teams to ensure that Products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation
• Engaging in product discovery engagement to identify Product friction points, creating, and owning the action plan to address them in partnership with Implementation & Operations
• Understanding the Software Development Lifecycle and partner with IT, Data Engineering and Analytics to ensure that the Products delivering high quality working software effectively and efficiently.
• Driving institutionalized knowledge using consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across all processes to support knowledge management and ensure consistency and repeatability across products

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 140,000
Maximum: 280,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following experience / knowledge / ability:

• 8+ years of professional product management or in roles requiring proficiency with the entire life cycle of product (e.g., market intelligence, conceptualization, product development, launch, growth, maturity, retirement) and in developing key messaging, product materials and sales collateral for products and key strategic market issues.
• Experience in a role requiring strong analytical, communication, technical, and multi-disciplinary leadership skills including engaging with, presenting recommendations to, and influencing strategic and tactical decision-making across a wide range of teams and levels
• Proven track record working on healthcare software (analytics), insights, data and/or analytics products in a role requiring proficiency with the entire life cycle of product (e.g., market intelligence, conceptualization, product development, launch, growth, maturity, retirement).
• Has successfully launched and commercialized products in the healthcare ecosystem (pharma, health plans, health systems, etc.)
• Has experience in supporting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
• Demonstrated experience as a leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop product talent (both managers and individual contributors) and coach teams to facilitate end-to-end product ownership
• Has experience in translating and applying customer feedback to lead product offering adjustment strategies
• Experience on products using concepts of Scaled Agile Framework, Human Centered Design, Lean UX. Ability to collaborate with Design and UX team members on design artifacts including user journeys, wireframes, etc.
• Experience in a role requiring demonstrated proficiency in developing key messaging, product materials and sales collateral for products and key strategic market issues.
• Strong skills in planning, detail and accuracy, creative thinking, and verbal and written interpersonal communication.

• Skilled with JIRA, Confluence and Miro (or similar tools)
• Scrum Alliance Product Owner certification
