Lead Data Scientist - Trial Delivery Enrollment Optimization

Job Description
Do you want to apply your skills in advanced analytics and optimization to promote faster introduction of new therapies in Clinical Trial Delivery and drive significant business value while improving the experience of patients nationwide? The CVS Health retail team is looking to hire a talented Lead Data Scientist to support Clinical Trial Delivery. Join us on the journey to develop descriptive and predictive techniques to optimize patient conversion & enrollment, drive revenue growth and personalize patient engagement throughout the lifecycle of Clinical Trial Delivery.

The Lead Data Scientist will leverage their technical and analytical expertise to drive Trial Delivery enrollment. This includes analytics insights to develop patient conversion & retention models and set next best action to meet Clinical Trial needs. The candidate will also use advanced machine learning to establish attribute importance, develop revenue forecast, localize insights for sites and develop A/B tests for bottom of patient funnel analytics.

This person will collaborate with business leaders and partners to inform analytics approach, identify quick wins and enable step changes over time. They must be able to effectively influence and communicate with non-technical audience and promote adoption to drive sustainable impact.

Position Description:
• Lead initiatives to drive site analytics using both descriptive and predictive techniques including time-series forecasting, classification, regression and clustering
• Leverage analytics expertise to engage with key leaders to identify new use cases to meet hyper growth of Clinical Trials Delivery
• Input business requirements from various stakeholders, lead analysis of vast amounts of data in turn to synthesis strategies and tactics to solve complex problems and optimize tradeoffs
• Develop and present insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations and go forward planning to guide a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and senior leadership
• Mentor junior Data Scientists, promote knowledge sharing and provide input on technology stack

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 115,000
Maximum: 230,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in descriptive and predictive analytics including gathering requirements to meet data and technology pre-requisites
• Strategic mindset and experience leading highly technical initiatives focused on deploying data and analytics solutions in healthcare
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, communicate insights and promote adoption of analytics insights
• Deep expertise with data modeling/analytics in SQL and Python
• Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and enable hypergrowth of Clinical Trials Delivery

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with the common Python libraries used in machine learning projects
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Snowflake.), including querying/mining large datasets and deploying projects on cloud systems.
• Familiarity with working in an Agile framework.

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.

Master's degree or PhD preferred
