Group Lead - Maintenance - 2nd shift

Job Description
Hourly rate is $25 - $33 / hour

Lead a team to perform maintenance and repairs.

2nd Shift 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as needed.

Required Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset
• Ability to work in team environment
• Maximize system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance tasks
• Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
• Support Production Team through fault correction and troubleshooting
• Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components

• Experience maintaining material handling systems in a distribution center environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
• Familiarity with control technology
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
• Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing
• Working at heights of up to 40 feet wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Lead a team of technicians and error correctors
• Lead by example: positive attitude, take responsibility, listen, acknowledge success and integrity
• Follow all CVS Health Policies and Compliance
• Ensure a safe work environment for all colleagues
• Provide a constant flow of communication to the production teams
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements
• Execute planned, preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks under direction of Facility Services Manager
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory
• Communicate shift notes daily to the management team through email

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Physical demands:
o Frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds.
o Occasionally lift greater than 45 to 75 pounds.
o Frequent bending, reaching and stooping.
o Constant walking, standing and pulling.
o Climbing and working at heights with fall arrest 40 feet.
• Work environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience maintaining material handling systems in a distribution center environment

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
