Quality Inspector - Level II
We are looking for a talented Quality Inspector - Level II - to join our team specializing in Quality at our facility in Mineral Point, WI, US.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure product integrity: By verifying that all incoming and outgoing products meet technical specifications, you'll help maintain the company's reputation for quality and reliability.
Reduce defects and waste: Through precise inspection and early identification of non-conforming materials, you'll prevent defective products from reaching customers and minimize costly rework.
Maintain compliance: By consistently following company quality standards and industry norms, you'll support regulatory compliance and internal audit readiness.
Enhance process consistency: Your accurate documentation of defects and deviations will provide valuable data for continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
Support team excellence: By training others in measurement techniques, inspection processes, and documentation methods, you'll strengthen overall quality awareness and skill across the production team.
Promote efficiency: Your proactive verification and segregation of products will help keep the production line running smoothly and prevent bottlenecks caused by quality issues.
Drive continuous improvement: By identifying trends in non-conformances, you'll contribute to improvements in materials, equipment calibration, and process control.
Protect customer satisfaction: Your attention to detail ensures only conforming, high-quality products reach customers-directly supporting trust, loyalty, and long-term business success.

Apply measurement science expertise: Understand and manage measurement uncertainty, calibration, and traceability across relevant domains (e.g., mechanical, optical, or dimensional) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Demonstrate quality process management skills: Use quality tools and methods like SPC, FMEA, and audits to continuously improve product and process quality.
Value diverse perspectives: Leverage the different experiences, ideas, and cultural backgrounds of team members to strengthen problem-solving and innovation in quality control.
Understand laboratory management principles: If applicable, balance technical oversight with operational management-ensuring compliance with certifications, calibration schedules, and laboratory best practices.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
