Aftermarket Manager

We are looking for an Aftermarket Manager who is driven by developing customer relationships and focused on solutions- based sales. You will be responsible for managing and growing the current portfolio of clients in Spain and Portugal . The role is part of our distribution business unit and is based in Madrid.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Evaluate the market to identify and approach potential opportunities, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop parts and service sales strategies and action plans to achieve optimum results.
  • Build a strong understanding of customer needs and business goals, identifying Cummins' solutions that will add value to the customer. Coordinate communication and interfaces with the customer at appropriate levels.
  • Develops proposals for new business with specific and significant new accounts or for programs to attract new customers or expand channel penetration. Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines and closes new sales.
  • Use market and competitor researched teamed with your own market knowledge to identify and prioritize opportunities. Conduct industry and customer activities such as networking events to better evaluate opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and New Business Development specialists to manage the analysis and measurement of market sales potential across various channels and products within the region. Communicate with key stakeholders on emerging customer needs, market trends and how to increase our ability to win further business. Create and implement processes to understand competition and provide input for pricing propositions within the business unit.


Qualifications
To be successful you will need;
  • Experience in a sales, account management and, or aftermarket role within the engine industry is required.
  • To be commercially aware with a genuine passion for the market and the brand, growing the market share and increasing Cummins presence.
  • English and Spanish language skills are required.
  • Willingness to travel to dealerships and customers up to 50%
