CSC is seeking a Depositary Services Officer for a newly established and growing Depositary Services team in Wexford, Ireland. This role will give you exposure to all aspects of the Depositary business. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team working directly with the Depositary management team. There is significant opportunity for progression as the business grows.
This position will provide full training and is a great opportunity for someone loking for an entry-level role.
The main core responsibilities include the following:
• Completion and review of depositary activities including cashflow monitoring, asset safekeeping and oversight.
• Liaise with the management team to build strong relationships with clients.
• Operate as a key part of a team to deliver a client focused, high quality service.
• Direct contact point for audit liaison and provision of audit confirmations.
• Participate and contribute to team meetings.
• Support local and regional management.
• Preparation of local regulatory and MIS reporting.
• Assist with the onboarding of new clients, both from a fund launch and fund migration perspective.
• Ensure the timely provision of reporting to the clients and regulators.
Core Competency Requirements:
Prior experience of depositary or fund administration with a focus on Private Equity and/or Real Estate is a plus. Familiarity with the AIFMD and Irish regulatory environment are advantageous.
The candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and possess a high level of motivation, tenacity, agility and ability to work pro-actively with a constant focus on delivering consistent quality of service to our clients.
The candidate will have a a university degree in business, accountancy, finance or a related discipline. One to two years of experience in the financial sector is highly desired.
