Direct Repair Network Specialist (Inside) – NV / Las Vegas
R1298 Direct Repair Network Specialist (Inside) – NV / Las Vegas (Open)
Under general direction, handles multiple property damage claims, evaluation of subrogation demands from adverse carrier, evaluation of auto & motorcycle damage, negotiation of car damage estimates, out of state losses, and handling of claims coverage issues over the telephone.
Essential Functions / Principal Responsibilities
Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto, property damage or total loss claims and adjusts claims to conclusion and adjusts claims that require outside field assignments May monitor repairs of damaged vehicles belonging to insureds and third parties.
Handles multiple property damage claims, evaluation of subrogation demands from adverse carriers and out of state losses.
Process payments appropriately and review with supervision beyond authority Prepares file for authority review with supervisor or manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Basic math and moderate computer skills with technical aptitude to utilize a variety of software applications
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to type 30 wpm
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work in a flexible, changing environment
Proficient in ability to write estimates in computerized estimating systems
Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certifications
BS/BA, or equivalent experience
Valid Driver’s License
Typically 2+ years of claims experience
Knowledge of auto repair estimates and systems
Adjusters license preferred, and may be required by state
