As a Claims Service Adjuster Intern working on a regional claims operations team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a top tier Claims organization. CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer is one of the top property and casualty personal lines insurers in the United States.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CLAIMS SERVICE ADJUSTER INTERN INCLUDES:

  • EXCELLENT TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Learn how to process non-injury auto claims
  • ON THE JOB INSURANCE EXPERIENCE: Open claims and obtain required information from insured, claimant, and other involved parties.
  • COMPLETE INVESTIGATIONS. Understand facts about accidents, evaluate, negotiate and settle auto and property damage claims.
  • SUBROGATION: prepare and handle subrogation demands on non-disputed liability claims.
  • MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY: Go the extra mile by listening to and solving members' issues, while caring for them. Provide coverage information and explain policy language.
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: You'll have one-on-one mentorship opportunities, make friends, work and have fun with other interns.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone using active listening skills
  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM
  • Strong math, organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to function in a team and call center environment
  • A commitment to service excellence and caring for customers
  • To qualify for an internship at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, you must be currently enrolled in college/university in your junior year and have a 3.0 GPA or above.
