About the Role:
Help us protect CrowdStrike and its customers from the most advanced threats! CrowdStrike's Product Security team breaks the mold of traditional internal security and focuses on active threats to CrowdStrike's products. As a Vulnerability Intelligence Security Engineer you will monitor for emerging vulnerabilities, create tooling for known gaps around security misconfiguration, and deploy large-scale security/monitoring systems for asset visibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess current threat landscape and platform security posture to organize defensive readiness
Examine current security configurations and develop tooling for detections of security misconfigurations
Implement and monitor tools for detection and monitoring of assets across multiple clouds and data centers
Key Qualifications:
Able to thrive in a highly independent work environment
You're a clear thinker and efficient communicator
Applicable experience in a security role implementing and supporting security systems
Scripting capabilities shell, Python, Ruby, or some other automation system
Preferred:
Working knowledge of secure cloud configurations
Experience working with developers on security vulnerability remediation effort
Experience working with Linux and/or other Unix-like variants
Experience supporting operational systems
Knowledge of cloud platforms and highly concurrent systems
