Marketing Communications Manager Level 3

 

Summary

The position is responsible for marketing communications for the Wolfspeed RF business unit as well as channel marketing support for Wolfspeed.

Marketing and Communications

  • Develop the marketing communications strategy and calendar for the Wolfspeed RF business unit, including PR, tradeshows, new product launches, thought leadership initiatives and lead gen/nurturing
  • Plan, develop, produce and/or deliver marketing and communications materials to support that strategy
  • Manage development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials
  • Partner with Marketing Automation team to capture and foster leads for the global sales team
  • Participate in budget development and support budget management
  • Use independent judgment to execute marketing and communications plan
  • Prepare written and visual materials including web copy, marketing collateral, reports, and presentation
  • Be responsible for ensuring accuracy in information and proofreading
  • Analyze marketing and communications programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness

 

Channel Marketing Support

  • Work with the Distribution Marketing team and Wolfspeed product marketing to develop and execute the channel marketing plan, including digital marketing, tradeshows, training, and sponsorships
  • Project manage development of assets to support the plan
  • Write copy, develop creative, and proof assets as needed
  • Work with Distribution Marketing team to review analytics and optimize campaign focus, content and placements as needed

 

Required Skills/Criteria

  • At least 8-10 years of progressively responsible marketing communications positions
  • At least 2 years of telecom marketing experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or Engineering
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Digital marketing experience with strong analytic skills
  • Experience in lead gen and nurturing through digital marketing and tradeshows
  • Demonstrated history of marketing success
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics
  • Strong client orientation and excellent relationship management
  • Project management experience with a penchant for detail
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, resilient and positive approach to problem solving

 

Preferred Skills (but not required):

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator
