Training Manager (Member Support)

The Member Support department at Credit Karma is looking for a new training manager to join their team and build a world class training program for new hires and existing agents.  The Training Manager oversees the day-to-day training operations of Member Support. Further, they deliver training to staff, manage the smooth and effective function of designated training programs and ensure those programs meet all legal and business requirements.  This also involves marketing, planning and execution of ongoing and tailored training programs. This position is required to guide, mentor and lead the training personnel assigned to them, all while furthering the companies and departments vision.

What You Get To Do:

  • Present training material and bulletins in person as well as coordinating with site management on training needs
  • Identifying training and development needs within the Member Support team
  • Designing and developing training and development programs based on the needs of Member Support while working with the manager and assistant managers to implement
  • Create training materials such as presentations, manuals and handouts
  • Keep training materials and databases up to date
  • Organizing the use of and management of all training materials
  • Amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment
  • Develop and manage training leads, both on- and off-site, as well as change management partners and/or specialists
  • Work with manager and assistant managers to reach team goals

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years in developing and delivering training, as well as managing a team that may include training partners on- or off-site and internal change support specialists
  • Has experience in instructional design and delivery
  • Experience leading and developing people
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office and/or Google documents/slides/spreadsheets
  • Excellent customer service skills with a dynamic personality
  • Must be flexible and comfortable to work in a rapid, evolving climate
  • Project management and people management skills
