Senior Social Media Strategist

Credit Karma is looking for a self motivated, analytically minded social media maven with a strong understanding of how to structure, evaluate and optimize social media campaigns particularly on Facebook and Instagram. Working in our Social Strategy team, you will be working closely with our Performance Marketing and Creative teams to test and evaluate creative concepts and manage the content testing process. We’re looking for someone who is able to evaluate creative through the numbers and clearly run and manage A/B testing programs to ensure that we maximize learning and optimize performance of our social creative. From testing, we’re looking for you to make recommendations on how to scale campaigns with our Performance Marketing team to get the most out of our social creative.

In addition to your analytical experience, you will also have a passionate interest in social creative and be interested in learning about and being part of the creative process, contributing both qualitative and quantitative analysis to help refine our idea pipeline as a passionate consumer of social content.

What the Job Entails:

  • Manage performance of social campaigns on key platforms to test creative learnings and identify content and campaigns that can be scaled by Performance Marketing team
  • Act as subject matter expert for Credit Karma on social platforms including latest development in ad formats and trending content to test and learn from
  • Engage stakeholders and ensure teams work together in creating objectives and timelines
  • Own and swiftly break down impediments that prevent things from moving forward
  • Increase collaboration and improve visibility into cross-team dependencies
  • Identify and communicate risk in projects/programs early so that mitigation steps can be taken
  • Identify critical path activities for programs and prioritization of social initiatives
  • Facilitate efficient meetings to ensure information exchange and alignment across teams

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years experience working within social media, with a focus on analytics and measurement or performance marketing
  • Can take a project from concept to execution to measurement with little oversight ●
  • Can implement and gauge success of campaigns based on defined KPIs and also determine validity of testing results to re-test as needed
  • Ability to project managing teams toward a common goal
  • Self-starter who is comfortable owning and driving projects involving multiple deliverables to tight deadlines
  • Team player who likes to break down processes and problem solve
