Senior Product Marketing Manager

Credit Karma is working to make financial progress possible for everyone. The product marketing team plays a pivotal role in this mission by helping our product teams  with positioning and go-to-market strategies for our ever-evolving product. Product marketing managers are the glue that holds the product and marketing teams together.

We’re looking for a senior product marketing manager to leverage analytics, consumer insights, product knowledge and marketing know-how to drive increased adoption of our features and value to our members. We’re looking for someone who gets excited to explore, understand and solve real consumer financial problems--that’s what we’re in the business of here at Credit Karma.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with product managers to be the voice of Credit Karma’s members and connect how their product fits within the larger member journey
  • Be the “CMO” for a vertical and develop a go-to-market strategy in partnership with the product and marketing teams
  • Develop value propositions for our products/services that will resonate with the target audience and align with our brand
  • Share learnings from the research team and competitive analyses and make actionable recommendations to product and marketing based on findings
  • Partner with product and performance marketing on adoption barriers
  • Partner with member support, social media and PR to determine consumer feedback and make recommendations based on insights gathered
  • Define and monitor our competitors relevant to specific features or initiatives and the differentiating factors that make Credit Karma stand out from the crowd

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience; preference given to prior consumer product marketing experience
  • Ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
  • Analytical thinker and experience in data-driven marketing
  • Strong ability to communicate, build relationships and influence cross-functionally
  • Ability to context shift quickly between strategic, analytic and creative problems
  • Ability to deal with short-term priority changes while maintaining a long-term perspective on department and company objectives
