Senior Marketing Analyst (Engagement Marketing)

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to help us understand and optimize how members engage with our platform through precise measurement, structured testing, and inventive analysis. If you’re passionate about problem solving and exploration research and want to help us turn each user interaction into a delightful experience, this role is made for you.

What You Will Do:

  • Leverage your analytical abilities to look beyond the numbers and understand how our members interact with our website and app
  • Research, develop analysis, tracking instrumentation, and forecasting and optimization of key engagement metrics (e.g. DAU, MAU, feature usage, email performance) and present findings in easy-to-consume dashboards
  • Work closely with marketing and product managers to identify and measure the impact of features on key engagement metrics and help shape product strategy and execution
  • Regularly update stakeholders about the state of engagement and explain variance in performance through weekly and monthly communications
  • Actively mine data from our SQL databases to develop predictive models
  • Build complex and multi-layered forecasts in Excel and/or Google Sheets for business planning
  • Design and implement tests (A/B and multivariate) to understand drivers of engagement
  • Support ongoing analysis and monitoring of business performance with recommendations

What We Expect:

  • 4+ years of relevant experienceBS/MS in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel skills, with exposure to SAS, R, MLlib, Python or other statistical software package
  • Experience with Advanced SQL and relational databases including queries, database definition and schema design
  • Experience in 1 or more data-focused marketing channels including email, direct response online advertising, or television
  • Experience with Looker and/or other dashboarding tool is a plus
  • Effectively communicate findings, designs and timelines to a diverse audience
