Senior Manager, Social Media

Credit Karma is looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media, working closely with our in-house creative team and performance marketing team to manage strategic, high impact social campaigns across key channels.  Our ideal candidate is as at home analyzing data to understand how a campaign or creative is performing as briefing and working with art directors, copywriters, and our video team. 

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Manage and direct Credit Karma’s social media and community strategy
  • Develop innovative social media campaigns aimed at driving key business objectives including, in close partnership with the performance marketing team, new member acquisition and raising awareness and usage of product lines
  • Develop strategies to create highly engaging content that moves the needle
  • Monitor and activate Credit Karma’s biggest online influencers and enthusiasts
  • Manage a team of social media and community addicts who are passionate about Credit Karma’s mission to help people take control of their financial identity
  • Set challenging but achievable goals for the Community Team and report regularly on progress
  • Work closely with other Credit Karma teams to support go-to-market strategies for new products and initiatives.
  • Ensure effective customer service on Credit Karma’s social channels

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years’ social media and online community experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience leading a team of social and/or community managers
  • Experience in the financial or other highly regulated industry is a plus
  • Leader with proven ability to motivate and develop direct reports, communicate effectively with others, and establish credibility with senior management
  • A track record of creative social media programs
