Partner Integrations Project Manager

Credit Karma is seeking a passionate, driven and results-oriented individual to help lead its partnerships and business forward.  In this role, you will use your relationship management experience to develop and deepen partnerships with a broad range of partners, from startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world.  Given your expertise in our partners and their markets, you will work cross-functionally with product, analytics, engineering teams and more to help shape the overall strategy for the verticals that you support.  Through your efforts developing our partnerships, you will be helping make financial progress possible for Credit Karma's more than 60 million members.

What the job entails

  • Interface closely with Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Legal, and other teams to drive strategic engagements, increase collaboration, and build effective communication channels with all partners and stakeholders
  • Manage and be the subject matter expert on partner initiatives through the entire project lifecycle, including but not limited to, initiation, planning, execution, quality control, and seamless launch and closure
  • Track progress, understand dependencies, evaluate risks and potential problems, and communicate appropriate information to project stakeholders
  • Proactively remove obstacles to ensure project and team momentum and progress
  • Diplomatically manage and support teams balancing competing priorities
  • Motivate colleagues to action, communicating requirements and creating accountability to deadlines
  • Facilitate an environment of teamwork and continuous learning and improvement so that each project is smoother than the last
  • Be a creative problem solver, acute listener, and empathetic team member
  • Be customer service-oriented towards both internal and external partners, comfortable operating with a high sense of urgency, enthusiastic about working with diverse and talented teams, and driven to succeed

Our ideal candidate

  • 3-5 years of project management experience working with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, and Legal
  • Strong project management, communication, facilitation, and informal influencing skills, including the ability to build rapport and relationships with senior-level leaders and day-to-day contacts
  • Strong proficiency in project planning software, strategies, and processes with the flexibility to adjust to different settings and shifting priorities
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, motivating, and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely organized, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and calm under pressure
  • Experience working and excelling in a high paced, fast growing, and dynamic tech startup environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or at least 4 years of related business experience and a track record of continuous professional development
