FP&A Analyst, Credit Cards

We're looking for an FP&A analyst to help scale our financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities across the credit cards vertical to empower decision making for the General Manager and other credit cards leadership. This role will collaborate cross functionally throughout the organization to supply detailed forecasts, insights into metrics, and critical analytical thinking. Your key business partners will be the GM of Credit Cards and leaders across various functions including BD, Product, BizOps, Analytics, Marketing and Data.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish and maintain forecasting processes including long-term strategic planning, annual planning, monthly rolling forecasts and in-month monitoring
  • Analyze market trends to understand partner and competitive landscape
  • Build revenue forecasts for credit card initiatives across teams including Product, Data Science and BD
  • Partner closely with key business partners to develop thoughtful forecasts and gain insights into revenue drivers/shifts
  • Help establish and direct KPIs to measure financial and product performance
  • Create weekly business updates for cards leadership based on KPIs, providing insight into any trends or shifts in the business
  • Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities to the business
  • Work to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting processes and methodologies
  • Develop and standardize financial reports
  • Drive ad-hoc business projects as necessary

What We Expect:

  • BA/BS degree required in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline
  • 2-4 years of FP&A relevant experience
  • Experience in investment banking or an analytical role at a technology company/high-tech environment preferred
  • Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to build and manage complex financial models for business forecasting and analysis
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
