Director, Mortgage

As Director for the Mortgage vertical, you will be responsible for building an innovative mortgage marketplace that delivers a best-in-class consumer experience for Credit Karma members and partners.  You will develop strategic relationships with leading mortgage lenders that yield data and technology integrations that drive certainty, transparency and simplicity into the mortgage shopping experience.  You will have direct ownership, responsibility and accountability for building a high-growth business, have a significant impact on company growth, and work with an amazing team in a member-oriented, mission-driven environment. 

Our ideal candidate

  • Hyper-focused on building strategic relationships, proven by at least 8 years of experience in a client-facing role in a sales/business development capacity and experience within the Mortgage vertical
  • A detailed understanding of opportunities and challenges in the mortgage industry, a vision for its growth and a commitment to advance Credit Karma’s forward-looking initiatives within the marketplace
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team that is passionate about innovation to the benefit of members and partners
  • Leverage proven frameworks to evaluate potential business opportunities, structure the team’s thinking, and reach insightful answers
  • Possess a natural ability for analyzing information, including numerical data. Moreover, you can effectively use data to make decisions and can communicate this data to others in a manner that is succinct and easy to understand
  • Experience with digital marketing with knowledge of performance base marketing models CPM, CPC, CPA, and CPL and negotiating complex deals
  • Ambitious team player with the ability to execute multiple partner requests and tasks in time sensitive situations
  • Proven track record of delivering results and innovation with measurable impact to revenue performance
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, leadership and intangibles that deliver exponential growth

Requirements

  • 8+ years of  business development, consulting or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; Masters preferred
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
