Data Solutions & Partnerships Manager

Credit Karma is seeking a talented and motivated individual to help lead its data partnerships. The Manager of Data Solutions & Partnerships will lead strategy development, negotiate licensing deals, and manage partner relationships.  Through your efforts developing our data partnerships, you will help deliver the mission of making financial progress possible for Credit Karma's more than 60 million members.    

What the job entails

  • Develop strategy for data assets and technology to support Credit Karma’s product and goals
  • Conduct research on the partner ecosystem and due diligence with partners to understand data sources, coverage, and quality
  • Build business cases evaluating the benefits and costs of partnership opportunities
  • Structure and negotiate deals end-to-end with partners to license data or technology
  • Lead strategic partner relationships to ensure ongoing success, manage partner needs, and identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to on-board, ingest, and make use of new data assets

Our ideal candidate

  • 3+ years of business experience, preferably in business development, partnerships, consulting, or analytics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Skilled in utilizing data and analytics to drive improved business decisions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - Capable of structuring business and data strategies independently in fast-paced environment
  • Subject matter expertise - Knowledgeable of data and media technology ecosystems. Experience partnering with credit bureaus and other third-party data providers/sources
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering functions and experience with technical integrations/on-boarding
