Business Systems Analyst

Credit Karma is working to make financial progress possible for everyone.  The Financial Systems Team plays a pivotal role in this mission by providing an infrastructure that will scale alongside our member and partner volume.  Furthering our business by implementing and owning systems that enhance partner relationships while providing internal overhead to support the 60 Million+ Credit Karma members that ultimately drive our business.

What the Job Entails

  • Create systems and data flow analyses of existing systems and processes 
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead projects to enhance finance system functionality through improvements and integrations
  • Partner with internal/ external business teams to develop delivery roadmaps (timelines), defining resources, business processes, and associated requirements
  • Direct resources and organize project work to drive predictable delivery
  • Participate in system implementation projects (discovery, requirements gathering, vendor selection, configuration, QA, UAT, Delivery, support) 
  • Become the technical subject matter expert for your focus areas by building on past experience, familiarizing yourself with our business/ goals, and maintaining awareness of industry trends
  • Architect solutions aimed at increasing automation and scalability

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, Computer Science, and/ or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years’ prior experience as Business Systems Analyst 
  • Understanding of SOX controls and experience working with sensitive data
  • Prior experience in FP&A and/ or Accounting – strongly preferred
  • Experience working with different databases and integration tools like SQLDB, Netezza, Mongo, Spark, Boomi, Informatica, Talend, etc 
  • Experience with Cloud Products, Cloud Computing, and integrations in hybrid environments like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Netsuite, Host Analytics, Intacct, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Workday, Salesforce, etc
  • Knowledge of middle-ware architectures like SOA, EDA
  • Experience with reporting/ BI platforms like Qlik, Tableau, Micro strategy, OBIEE, etc – preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to deal with ambiguity in a dynamic business environment
