Business Operations Manager

Credit Karma is working to make financial progress possible for everyone. The BizOps team plays a pivotal role in this mission and every part of our business by regularly driving operational discipline and clarity on performance and priorities to make verticals & Credit Karma successful at achieving objectives.

We're looking for a Manager to work closely with the Head of Business Operations with the focus of driving operational excellence in the Credit Cards vertical.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage key communication / decks to Executive Committee and Board of Directors
  • Provide regular strategic context for the vertical (competitive dynamics, industry trends, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain tools for operational excellence: Track performance (develop operational dashboards for specific initiatives and overall KPIs),Drive cross-functional clarity on under- and over-performance (in-depth analyses)
  • Engage in analytical deep dives with cross-functional colleagues in Analytics, Finance, etc.
  • Serve as thought partner and sounding board to Head of Business Operations to help drive data-driven decisions
  • Facilitate strategic planning and provide independent perspective on viability of plans to achieve goals, as well as on resource prioritization and allocation
  • Lead strategic projects to inform longer-term growth planning and operationalize select strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the platform, other verticals, strategic partnerships and acquisitions to grow the business. In the event of an acquisition in the vertical, drive acquisition integration when necessary

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • MBA or BA/BS degree in Business, Economics or related field
  • General athlete with preferred background in management consulting or related field
  • Strong analytical chops and ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
  • Ability to drive forward complex projects with minimal guidance and oversight
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate, present and debate recommendations with all levels of management
  • Strong inclination for structure, process improvement, regularity, and priorization
  • Proactive and passionate self-starter with bias towards action and constant priorization
  • Strong cross-functional experience with team-first attitude
