Publisher Account Manager

The Account Manager will be working closely and collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product and the Engineering team to deliver the best of breed customer service and strategic vision to our Publishers.

Responsibilities:
As a member of Cox’s Publisher Account Management team, your core duties will be to oversee an assigned portfolio of publisher accounts, provide exceptional customer service, develop relationships, manage account profitability, and drive new business through existing channels. You will also be responsible for the entire publisher life cycle from on-boarding to optimization.
Reaching & exceeding quarterly & annual revenue goals & MBOs
Develop deep knowledge of your key-publisher accounts
Lead up-sell & cross-sell efforts with existing publisher pool to increase sites, inventory sets & increase distribution across different channels
Develop & continue to grow Cox’s presence
Reviews daily delivery reports to monitor and respond to unexpected inventory fluctuations
Utilizing CRM to ensure all publisher information is updated & accurate
Scheduling bi-weekly calls, meetings & quarterly business reviews with key publishers

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of media account management experience
Strong working knowledge of RTB & Programmatic landscape
Strong proven data analytical skills
Proven ability to negotiate renewal contracts when appropriate
Must interface cross functionally to help solve publisher level products & technical issues
Proven ability to work in a fast-pace environment & extremely proactive towards taking action
Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal presentation)
Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot table usage) & PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of ad networks, exchanges, SSP and the online advertising industry in general
Proven ability to work independently & capacity to work with all teams, including sales, marketing, product & engineering
Ability to travel (up to 20%) to client sites, conferences and/or outer offices
High school / GED required

Preferred Requirements:
3+ years of media account management experience
BA/BS strongly preferred
