Creative Services Director


KOKI-TV Fox 23 (Tulsa’s Fox affiliate), KMYT-TV and NOKI-TV, part of Cox Media Group, is seeking a creative services leader to oversee Marketing, Commercial Production, Graphic Design and Community Relations. The Creative Director must be an excellent strategist and problem solver; a great communicator and collaborator; and a detail-oriented multi-tasker who can stay focused in an evolving and fast-paced environment and be opportunistic and utilizes station research to deliver station goals and grow audience. The ability to work as part of a leadership and management team is a critical skill. The ideal candidate should be strong in multi-platform marketing including the application of social media to news.

Individual must have proven track record of leadership, and must have a record of collaborating with station management and its news department to achieve the common goal of “living/delivering the brand,” and winning and excellence. Person must have ability to execute a strategic marketing plan, in conjunction with GM and News Director, as well as manage the production of station image and daily news topical promotion, proof of benefit spots, graphic arts, outside media, commercial production, PSAs and station community events. This candidate should have extensive knowledge in non-linear editing including Adobe Premiere and Avid.

A strong understanding of and ability to interpret broadcast ratings and station research are needed. On style, we expect the new CSD to inspire, drive and direct our creative team and be a visible and collaborative news partner.

  • The ideal candidate will execute state of the art television/digital marketing for on-air, online, print, and radio and collaborate closely with Cox owned Radio and Cable properties.


  • Experience developing a marketing plan
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in business related filed
  • Familiarity with using research and metrics to drive innovation and results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Inclusive leader who builds a strong two-way relationship with his/her staff
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing staff
