This person should possess the ability to research markets and interpret opportunities given organization’s structure, capabilities, and direction. Build sales productivity tools and metrics and also be an active consumer of CRM data for improved sales force effectiveness. Additionally, be able to drive the sales forecasting and reporting process

Essential Functions

Remove friction from the sales process

Sales plans and sales metrics vis a vis the Division strategy and tactics

Sales reporting

Forecasting

Dashboard development and score carding

Best Practice capture and transfer

Territory alignment-team configuration/optimization

Target Markets, Share goals

Sales Team Productivity

CRM/Salesforce optimization (working knowledge of Salesforce CRM a definite plus)

Sales Compensation

Competitive Analysis

Education

College Degree--BS/BA preferred

Any additional certifications/degrees, a plus (CFA, CPA, MBA)

Experience

3-5 years’ business experience minimum.

Work history should including process-oriented analysis and understanding of compiling and assessing market data, competitive information and sales processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must possess the ability to work closely with sales teams and sales leaders in the development of models and dashboards related to both sales plans and forecasts

Experience should show a working ability to develop and manage process and tools related to sales and operations productivity

Interaction with senior level associates including the ability to lead discussions and make recommendations including being able to support those recommendations with data and analysis

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and simultaneously manage a number of key initiatives

Ability to manage projects effectively from inception to completion

Working Conditions

Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
