Recruiting Internship

As a recruiting intern at COUNTRY Financial, you will work alongside our Agency Sales Recruiters to:

  • Source, recruit and screen quality candidates suitable for insurance agent positions in key territories via LinkedIn and other sourcing tools
  • Enter, track and maintain candidate information in company databases such as candidate relationship management system (CRM) and applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Respond to pre-applicant inquiries via phone and email
  • Assist with updating and maintaining recruiting information on recruiting websites and company intranet, and participate in recruiting optimization projects to improve content
  • Provide information and data for recruiting research, specifically around the agency internship program and college recruiting strategies

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Communication, Human Resources, Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Graduation date of August 2018 or beyond
  • Previous sales or customer service experience
  • Previous research and/or data mining experience
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience planning events and/or using social media for marketing/campaigns is desired
  • Must be able to work full-time hours from May to August 2018. The internship may be extended part-time into the fall semester; depending on the availability of the student, the needs of the company, and strong work performance.
