Incentive Programs Analyst

At COUNTRY Financial, our Incentive Programs Analyst supports strategic sales objectives through the design, implementation and on-going support of sales incentive, recognition and compensation programs. This role will be part of a highly collaborative team partnering with sales management and various business units to ensure the success of supported programs. You will contribute to the development or improvement of systems and reporting to effectively capture program data and track program performance.

  • Serves as a departmental resource regarding agency corporate programs designed to report, measure, and

monitor Financial Representative, Agency Manager and Agency field Executive sales results and performance.

This includes data administration, system development and system maintenance. Troubleshoots related

complex problems and solves outstanding operational issues for users.

  • Advises management regarding the development, revision and implementation of agency sales incentive

programs to maximize overall effectiveness and competitiveness with the market. May work in collaboration

with external consultants or vendors in researching program components and industry best practices.

  • Creates regular and ad-hoc reports for executive Marketing / Agency leadership and regularly communicates

with them regarding any issues, proposals and projects needing their approval.

  • Performs analysis for annual projects regarding benchmark, contest, and sales workforce objectives. Creates

programs that maintain thorough and accurate records for companywide distribution.

  • Leads mid-size agency projects to develop and maintain systems that monitor policy activities as it relates to

corporate objectives. This includes agency compensation, projection and modeling, licensing, awards, hiring

and terminations.

  • Writes and maintains programs (using Tableau) to report, measure, and monitor Financial Representative

and/or Agency Management sales performance and results. This includes agency compensation, certifications,

licensing, awards, contests, hiring, and terminations.

  • Serves as a database administrator for the marketing database in the management, configuration and reporting

of all agency data. Conducts the necessary problem resolution, maintenance and data integration associated

with the systems.

  • Serves as an information technology liaison for other company personnel on upgraded and installed hardware,

software, security issues, table updates, etc. related to the marketing databases. Troubleshoots the more

complex problems and resolves outstanding operational issues for users.

  • Functions as a subject matter expert on matters pertaining to marketing databases and interfacing databases

or subsystems. Consults with various areas regarding marketing database links, multi share points, data

integration or data / system requirements.

  • Coordinates data exports and imports to internal departments, systems or external vendors as appropriate.
  • Develops and tests maintenance procedures for file conversions.
  • Performs other related work as required or requested

Required Qualifications:

  • Education equivalent to graduation from college or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • Two or more years' experience in a role involving information technology, data reporting, project management,

(or the equivalent)

  • Two or more years of project management experience serving as a project manager or lead analyst on crossfunctional

projects of varying complexity. Proven ability to deliver project deliverables on time and within


  • Excellent prioritization, organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to take business issues and develop creative solutions through simplification and logic.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to serve as a responsible point-of-contact and subject matter expert for supported programs.
  • Proven technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of database architecture and design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems (or the equivalent).
  • Knowledge of COUNTRY corporate strategies and marketing/agency operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of agency field operations and agency compensation/programs at COUNTRY Financial.
  • Proven ability to propose and implement changes in support of the company's strategic vision.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Tableau, HTML, and other applicable mainframe and microcomputer

languages and tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of field sales operations at COUNTRY Financial.
  • Proven ability to propose and implement changes in support of the company's strategic vision.
  • Strong change management and consultative skills.
