These key ingredients to the company’s continued success help to shape the requirements for the VP, Finance.

Reporting to the CFO, The VP, Finance will oversee all areas of public company financial forecasting and key financial strategic initiatives and act as a business partner to the CFO and other Senior Exectives on all Annual Operating Plans, Monthly Business Reviews and quarterly forecasts as the company continues to grow in both the domestic and international marketplaces. With the Company’s focus on enhanced growth and profitability, it is critical the VP, Finance develop a strong business planning cadence for the company and enhance the quality of financial information used by key stakeholders for strategic decision making. This individual will be seen as a key point of contact and advisor for decision making to grow the business profitably and efficiently.

In this role you will…

  • Lead
    ❱ Direct CSOD’s business planning cadence and processes❱ Oversee key operating performance business processes including; measuring and monitoring of key strategic initiatives (long-term planning), AOP (Annual Operating Plan), MBRs (Monthly Business Review), and quarterly forecasts❱ Enhance company operational effectiveness through a series of metrics, business and functional reviews and reporting❱ Own the financial guidance provided to Wall Street and ensure transparent and clear communication with the shareholder base❱ Manage all financial communications with the Board of Directors and institutional investor base❱ Track and analyze all CSOD investments and assess progress against strategic objectives❱ …and being the rockstar you are, be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Build
    ❱ Build, mentor and develop a high-performance FP&A team and provide leadership for the Investor Relations function. Ensure the team is responsive to the needs of a complex global business, a growing organization and key internal and external stakeholders❱ Operate as a global business partner; cultivate positive business relationships with the senior executives and leadership teams, while partnering with other key constituents across functions
  • Advise
    ❱ Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, CFO and other senior executives to support sound decision-making for business growth, profitably and efficiently❱ Monitor the performance of the business, by measuring the appropriate KPIs/metrics as determined in collaboration with the executive team❱ Identify areas of operational inefficiency and drive cross-functional change to enhance efficiencies and eradicate ineffectiveness❱ With the BI/Analytics teams provide guidance and knowledge of business trends and opportunities to improve profitability

The selected VP, Finance will bring academic credentials, compelling company history, healthy career advancement within complex organizations, as well as cloud-based software and equivalent revenue/market value company experience. In addition, the VP, Finance will have built and led effective teams, have a significant amount of international experience, with a high degree of pride, efficiency and accountability. This role will require you to have strong business acumen, in-depth technical; software, financial, SaaS and digital aptitude, and elevated means of influence within an organization

  • Qualifications and Key Requirements
    ❱ Deep understanding and experience managing the forecasting and budgeting process for a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model❱ Proven ability to help the CFO and Finance Leadership Team transition from a finance-focused department to a department that builds and maintains strong, collaborative partnerships across all business functions❱ Experience communicating with institutional investors to tell to tell the Company’s strategic and financial story❱ Proficiency in implementing or leading a robust, bottoms-up companywide budgeting process❱ Experience leading a group of FP&A professionals in a large international company❱ Experience building an “embedded finance business partner” function in a large enterprise❱ A successful track record of managing and motivating teams❱ Outstanding oral and written communication skills with proven ability to present complex business problems to Senior Management❱ BA/BS in Finance, or closely related field; Master’s degree (MA, MS, MBA) a plus
