Senior Partner Marketing Strategist (United States)

Cornerstone, the global leader in cloud-based learning and talent management, is looking for an accomplished, results-driven Senior Partner Marketing Manager to grow partner contribution to pipeline and revenue. Working closely with internal stakeholders, this marketing leader will drive programs and campaigns across strategic partners primarily in North America. As a self-starter, they will incubate creative ideas, execute with measured precision, and strive to institutionalize best practices globally .

The role is tailored to candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit. Preference given to those who can learn and leverage an existing partner marketing framework while innovating and designing net-new joint-marketing initiatives with impactful partner organizations. The ideal candidate has previous experience in B2B partner marketing, lead generation, sales and/or business development. Leadership, communication and relationship building skills are essential.

In this role you will...

  • Design, own and implement measurable marketing plans with partners to drive revenue and awareness of Cornerstone products and services
  • Track demand generation activity to manage and achieve annual targets; Deliver and track incremental ROI; Develop strategies to improve results and/or re-direct team efforts as needed
  • Manage the annual partner marketing budget
  • Present to partner product and sales teams (kick offs, quarterly business reviews, etc.) as well as partner and internal executives.
  • Communicate regularly and build relationships with alliance managers, product teams and enablement specialists
  • Cross group leadership - drive virtual teams, project manage strategic initiatives towards common end goals, communicate deliverables effectively
  • Secure lighthouse partner testimonials and customer success stories to scale the business in new and innovative ways

You've got what it takes if you have..
  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing or software/technology
  • Proven track record - working effectively with partners, vendors, field and internal stakeholders to build, execute and measure strategic marketing efforts
  • Ability to build relationships and influence external stakeholders
  • Cross-group collaboration skills - building teams up without taking others down
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous business scenarios - lead critical business decision-making process with calculated risk-and-return analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and beginner's mindset - testing new ideas and seeing them through from start to finish

Extra dose of awesome if you have..
  • Experience with ABM, Salesforce.com and Marketo
  • MBA preferred but not required
