This is an exciting opportunity to join our global organization as a Lead Product Manager for Reporting & Analytics. As Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the roadmap, standards of excellence of product features, and operational efficiencies across your team to better deliver value to customers. Additionally, you will coach, develop, and support a team of product managers who are responsible for definition, execution, and launch of the capabilities for their associated product domains.

In this role you will...

Product Strategy

In partnership with Product Leadership, the Lead Product Manager will contribute to the product suite vision and strategy. Your job is to clearly articulate the business value to cross-functional teams so they understand the intent behind the roadmap. You must understand and be able to convey the strategy behind the product along with its roadmap and work with your Engineering counterparts to define, prioritize and build what matters.

  • Collaborate to create and manage the Reporting & Analytics roadmap and vision
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for product features developed by your team and track to the product suite and company goals
  • Track product suite health using product metrics on adoption and user behavior, customer satisfaction, cases and defects, and overall product P&Ls
  • Identify customer needs and market requirements
  • Evaluate competitive landscape
  • With your team, create proposals for new initiatives including solutions designed using data driven hypotheses, design sprints, and stakeholder and customer feedback
  • Interface with and prioritize feature requests from prospects and customers
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to align on the roadmap and business priorities

Product Releases

The Lead Product Manager must plan for what their teams will deliver and when they will deliver it. The individual product managers on your team own the development execution and release aspect of the product. Release responsibilities include managing features and dependencies across releases, product and support teams; and managing releases with phases and milestones. You will be accountable for the quality of feature releases including adoption metrics, usability, and customer satisfaction.

Go-to-market Support

In this role, you are often one of the lead resources for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required. This includes supporting the cross-functional teams that help bring the product to market and work directly with customers, such as marketing, sales, training and support services.
  • Facilitate sales and channel training
  • Assist pre-sales with project requests
  • Partner with Release Readiness and Product Marketing to create assets for clients and prospects to prepare for product releases
  • Define and ensure implementation of GTM assets including demo environments, training materials, and presentations
  • Demonstrate new pre-release features
  • Interface directly with strategic customers with higher standards of quality and service
  • Hosting internal and external webinars and live presentations at conferences as the subject matter expert for the product and the general market

Team Management

The Lead Product Manager will have a team of Product Managers reporting directly to him or her. You will be responsible for the productivity, quality, and culture of your team.
  • Creating a strong culture of teamwork aligned to Cornerstone's core values
  • Defining standards and processes for your team that promote productivity, efficiency, and quality
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on feature vision, definition, and progress
  • Coaching and career development
  • Interview and help source new Product Managers as your team grows

You've got what it takes if you have...
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in Reporting, Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence or related technical field
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities using data as a driver of decisions
  • Have a deep passion for data - how to get it, how to get to it, and how to use it to drive value for customers
  • Experience leading a team working on customer-facing applications
  • Experience operating in global organizations
  • Thrive on developing your team and helping them achieve their goals
  • Advocate for the customer's happiness
  • Have great communication and interpersonal skills to be an influencer
  • Polished presentation skills for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to prioritize and create a strategy based upon an understanding market trends, financial data, customer needs, assessment of competitive intelligence data, and data metrics derived from system usage
  • Build consensus among stakeholders
  • Previous experience in Enterprise B2B and SaaS preferred
  • Masters or bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred
