Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead various aspects of our financial reporting and technical accounting responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is a leader, strong communicator, hardworking and able to interact with management and various teams on a daily/regular basis. This candidate must be focused, intelligent, dependable, and able to have manage multiple tasks at the same time.

In this role you will...

  • Manage and monitor the quarterly and annual SEC reporting process ensuring quality financial statements and related flings.
  • Oversee statutory, tax and regulatory filing requirements for various international subsidiaries across the world.
  • Analyze current accounting policies and formalize the Company's position and assumptions.
  • Lead the Company's assessment and implementation of any existing and new accounting literature.
  • Perform reviews of significant transactions and assess appropriate accounting treatment and disclosure requirements.
  • Liaise with our auditors to work through complex accounting matters.
  • Produce insightful financial analyses and reports on a regular and ad hoc basis for executive and functional management teams, as well as the board and investors.
  • Work with various departments such as sales and legal, as well as within the Finance teams to support the international operations.
  • Foster an environment of high quality work, team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Other accounting related duties, as required.

You've got what it takes if you have…

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of accounting related experience. Combination of public accounting and software industry. Straight public candidates with significant experience working with software industry and relevant technical accounting matters will be considered.
  • Proven experience leading a team under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical accounting and research skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to interact upward with the executive team, cross functionally and managing a large team.
  • Ability to coach and develop staff on technical accounting, close procedures and team work.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or another accounting system is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
