We're looking for a

ANAPLAN Systems Administrator (Santa Monica, CA)

The Anaplan Systems Administrator will help collect and translate business processes and requirements into Anaplan powered solutions. This includes:

  • Documenting business requirements, specifically in incentive compensation and financial planning/modeling, and assessing level of effort.
  • Designing multi-dimensional Anaplan solutions that are scalable, flexible, and elegant to the end users and support the business process
  • Managing the software development lifecycle (design, build, test) and configuration team in implementation of the solution design
  • Staying abreast of new Anaplan functionality and how it may be applied to existing models to enhance their performance, functionality, and overall utility
  • Educating other stakeholders on Anaplan architecture, functionality, business benefits, and any limitations
  • Liaising with IT to support inbound and outbound data integrations to Anaplan solutions. Drive technical workstreams such as data integration, single-sign-on, and security automation
  • Developing a network of peers for support. The Administrator needs to meet and engage with Anaplan stakeholders to get assistance with complex issues/requirements, mobilize Anaplan to act should the system have performance issues or functional gaps, and to stay abreast of the product roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of implementation experience with multi-dimensional systems such as. If no such experience exists, at a minimum has strong Excel skills with demonstrated experience in designing complex workbooks.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a SOX environment is preferred
  • Experience and understanding incentive compensation structures, and financial models is preferred
  • Understand or have strong interest in developing expertise in sales operational processes such as territory management, quota setting, incentive compensation, and sales forecasting
  • 4 - 6 months of continued Anaplan implementation experience (starting as a configurator/model builder)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a successful track record of engagement management
  • Attention to detail, disciplined, and quality focused
  • Self-motivated to continuously improve and increase depth of knowledge
  • Agile implementation experience preferred
