Product Manager

Core Digital Media is seeking a strong Product Manager.  The Product Manager will contribute to the growth and innovation of Online Lead Generation in the Education vertical (ClassesUSA.com) and Financial Services vertical (LowerMyBills.com). The individual will be responsible for driving product optimization initiatives that are ultimately aimed at growing revenue and quality while improving the consumer experience.  This individual should be equally adept at working with Designers, Technology, and Marketing to achieve goals.  He / She should have strong, demonstrable analytical capabilities as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.

The Product Manager will be responsible for managing product optimization and consumer experience initiatives within the constraints of scope, time and quality to design and deliver requirements and meet consumer and internal client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have practical experience with product/project process tools and methodologies as well as 2 years of experience in an e-commerce or online marketing site.  The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of Internet Marketing practices.  Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with the SDLC, have exceptional attention to detail and possess a proven ability to understand the needs of consumers and business owners in a highly metric-driven lead generation environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and write product requirements and spec documents and work with product development team and other cross-functional groups to test and launch enhancements to existing products.
  • Maintain and publish analytic insights and trends regarding performance of initiatives.
  • Provide written and verbal communications on a regular basis to management on performance and progress against goals and product roadmap
  • R&D on potential opportunities for the organization, prepare and deliver results with recommendation.
  • Manage priorities and issues where conflicts arise
  • Assisting with business case and presenting to management
  • Work with key teams to balance product requirements and financial impact against time to market and project risks.

  • Work with key teams to balance product requirements and financial impact against time to market and project risks.
  • Understand technical trade-offs and good design
  • Ability to forecast and measure the benefit of a test or product enhancement

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (flexible)
  • 2 years of experience in interactive organization and writing requirements documents.
  • Experience with results oriented analysis.
  • 1-2 years in a Product Management role (preferred)
